Yes, we can make arrangements for using a PO and paying by check. Please read about the process here:
Please send your PO electronically (PDF) via email to email@example.com (do not mail your PO to us—the PO process is done all electronically). The subject line of your email should be: FRIDAY@Makerfaire Purchase Order for <enter your school's name>. Please be sure to include the following information in your PO:
1) Primary contact’s name and contact information including phone number and email address—this is the person to whom we will email the tickets. This should be someone who will actually be with the group coming to the Faire.
2) Your organization’s name, mailing address, main phone number, etc.
3) The authorized purchaser’s name, contact information including email address and phone number, and signature on the PO.
4) The name and email address of the person that needs to receive the invoice.
5) Please list each type of ticket you are ordering, its quantity, its price, and the total cost. (Please note that when paying by check, the fees shown on the ticketing web page are not charged so you do not need to include them in your total cost.) Remember the Chaperone requirement is one (1) adult Chaperone for every group of up to five (5) Students. For example, a group of 26 students requires 6 chaperones.
Once we receive your PO, we will generate an invoice and email it to the primary contact listed on the PO. After the invoice is emailed, we will issue the tickets. Tickets are auto-generated through Eventbrite and will be attached as a PDF to the confirmation email send to the primary contact. The name on the tickets does not need to match the name of the ticket holder. The tickets can be printed and handed out individually for scanning at the entry gate at the Faire.
Please note that payment must be made in full by May 10, 2019, or the tickets with be voided. If you need Maker Media's W9, please request it when submitting your PO. Maker Media’s address for use on the PO is: Maker Media, 11700 Montgomery St., Ste 240, SF, CA 94111, ATTN: Accounting Dept.
